FAST-TRACK REVIEW
JKKI provides a fast-track peer review service for authors who urgently need their articles published for various reasons. Despite using the fast-track service, JKKI maintains high standards of quality and objectivity in the review process. The fee for this service billable upfront after the manuscript is deemed eligible for the fast-track process.
FEE REDUCTION
JKKI upholds the principle that manuscript quality is its top priority. Therefore, authors experiencing financial constraints may request a reduction or waiver of publication fees from the Editor.
This request may be submitted by:
- Authors experiencing financial difficulties, particularly from developing countries.
- Undergraduate students acting as first or corresponding authors.
Requests for fee reductions/waivers will not affect the evaluation results and editorial decisions regarding submitted manuscripts.
ARTICLE CORRECTION AND WITHDRAWAL FEES
To maintain the integrity and reliability of the scientific record, JKKI implements an article correction and withdrawal policy that adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics. Corrections or withdrawals may be made if, either during the peer review process or after publication, errors or violations are discovered that affect the clarity, accuracy, or validity of the scientific work. Requests related to efforts to maintain the integrity of the scientific record are processed free of charge.
Each request will be evaluated by the Editor. A processing fee of Rp1,000,000 per request may be charged for withdrawals or corrections submitted for non-scientific reasons or reasons unrelated to research integrity, particularly after the peer review process has begun or completed. This fee is solely to cover administrative and review costs without affecting editorial decisions. Withdrawal of an article does not constitute removal of the article from the journal system. In accordance with COPE standards, retracted articles remain available as part of the scientific record, clearly marked as “Retracted” and accompanied by an official notice explaining the reasons for the retraction, to ensure transparency and accountability in scientific publications.
