THE OPEN ACCESS DEFINITION

"By 'open access' to this literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. Commercial Use Policy
The use of published articles for commercial purposes is prohibited. This includes:
- Sale, resale, or licensing for a fee.
- Posting on platforms that incorporate advertising.

Photocopying & Education
Teaching institutions may make free multiple copies for classroom use, provided the materials are not sold or further reproduced for commercial gain.
- Promotional use by for-profit organizations.
- Inclusion in sales packs or marketing compilations.

No permission is necessary to reuse your own article in a new publication where you are the author, editor, or co-editor, provided proper acknowledgment is given to the original JCMN publication.
