About the Journal
Jurnal Psikiatri Indonesia (JPI) is an open-access, general and comprehensive journal of psychiatry for psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, clinical psychologists, neurologists, primary care physicians, psychiatric nurses, academics and researchers, students of mental health, and those involved in mental health policy development.
The journal aims to bridge a knowledge gap in the application and translation of research findings into clinical practice within Indonesia to and from the rest of the world. It aims to focus on psychiatric research pertinent to Indonesia produced either within or from outside the country. This may include preclinical, clinical, digital mental health, service system, and policy development research relevant to psychiatry and will highlight the rich socio-cultural diversity of the archipelago as it pertains to mental health.
Jurnal Psikiatri Indonesia publishes peer-reviewed original research articles; review articles; commentaries on significant articles; synopses of current research highlights from Indonesia; and letters to the editor.
