About the Journal
The Journal of Case Reports and Clinical Insights in Health (JCRCIH) is an open-access, peer-reviewed, and online academic journal dedicated to disseminating high-quality case reports, case series, and clinical insights across the full spectrum of health sciences. JCRCIH provides a timely and accessible platform for healthcare professionals, researchers, clinicians, nurses, and public health practitioners to share unique, rare, instructive, or transformative patient and community health experiences that advance clinical understanding, improve practice, and inform health policy.
The journal welcomes contributions from diverse health disciplines (not limited to medicine, nursing, geriatrics, midwifery, public health, mental health, rehabilitation, traditional and complementary medicine, and allied health), particularly those featuring innovative interventions, unexpected outcomes, diagnostic challenges, or culturally grounded care in real-world settings.
By upholding standards of methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and clinical relevance, JCRCIH bridges individual patient narratives with broader evidence-based knowledge to support learning, reflection, and improved health outcomes globally.
Scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Rare or unusual clinical presentations
- Novel therapeutic approaches or adverse drug reactions
- Non-pharmacological interventions (e.g., relaxation therapy, group exercise, cognitive stimulation)
- Geriatric and community-based case studies
- Ethical, psychosocial, or cultural dimensions of care
- Public health case reports (e.g., community health initiatives, outbreak responses, health promotion)
- Interprofessional collaboration in complex or resource-limited settings
The Journal of Case Reports and Clinical Insights in Health (JCRCIH) is published quarterly, with four issues released annually in February, May, August, and November. This regular schedule ensures the timely dissemination of case reports and clinical insights while maintaining a consistent editorial and peer-review workflow.
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share and adapt the content, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given and any derivative works are distributed under the same license terms.
JCRCIH is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal adheres to the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
